Terms and conditions

Effective date: June 15, 2026. These terms explain the rules for using Markdown For All and the responsibility users keep when converting files.

Use of the service

Markdown For All is a file-to-Markdown conversion utility. You may use it to convert supported files into Markdown for lawful documentation, publishing, research, education, and knowledge-base workflows. You are responsible for reviewing the output before relying on it.

Your upload rights

Only upload files that you own, are authorized to process, or are legally allowed to convert. Do not upload confidential, regulated, copyrighted, or personal data if you do not have permission to use an online conversion workflow.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to upload malware, attack the site, bypass limits, scrape or automate abusive traffic, overload the API, test without authorization, or process files that violate law or third-party rights. The service may reject unsupported files, oversized files, unsafe archives, or requests that appear abusive.

Conversion limits

Markdown is a structured text format. It does not guarantee exact PDF layout, slide coordinates, Word page design, spreadsheet formulas, charts, macros, watermarks, signatures, or interactive HTML behavior. Complex files, scanned PDFs, multi-column layouts, merged spreadsheet cells, and presentation graphics may need manual review.

No professional advice

The service does not provide legal, financial, tax, medical, security, compliance, or professional advice. Do not rely on converted Markdown for high-stakes decisions without independent verification.

Advertising and third-party links

Markdown For All may display advertising or link to third-party resources. Ads and links do not imply endorsement and do not change conversion results. Do not click ads or links that you do not trust.

Availability and changes

The site may change, limit, suspend, or discontinue features for maintenance, reliability, security, abuse prevention, or product quality. Supported formats, size limits, content pages, and conversion behavior may change over time.

Limitation of responsibility

Use the service at your own risk. To the extent allowed by law, Markdown For All is not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate conversion, missing content, formatting differences, service interruption, misuse of uploaded files, or decisions made from unreviewed output.

Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent to support@mdforall.com. Do not include sensitive file contents in a general support message.

Source comparison and high-risk output

Converted Markdown is a draft, not an authoritative transcription. Users must compare names, dates, totals, table rows, clauses, identifiers, formulas, links, and other material details with the source. The public service is not an approved substitute for legal review, financial reconciliation, medical record processing, compliance archiving, or private document-management controls.
