Acceptance of these terms

By using Markdown For All, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not upload files or use the converter. These terms apply to the public website and its content. A self-hosted deployment may be subject to separate rules set by the person or organization operating it.

Your files and permissions

Only upload files that you own or have permission to process. You are responsible for making sure your use of the converter complies with your agreements, workplace policies, and applicable laws.

Do not upload files that include confidential, regulated, or third-party information unless you are allowed to process them in this workflow. This includes private customer records, financial records, medical information, legal documents, private keys, passwords, and files covered by nondisclosure agreements.

Conversion output

Markdown output is provided as-is. Conversion can be affected by source formatting, embedded fonts, scanned pages, merged cells, hidden spreadsheet data, or HTML generated by scripts. Review the output before publishing, indexing, or using it for decisions.

Markdown is a structured text format. It is not a replacement for a full PDF renderer, spreadsheet engine, presentation editor, or browser layout engine. Headings, paragraphs, lists, links, and simple tables can often be preserved. Exact visual placement, formulas, charts, signatures, form controls, and scanned text may require manual review or another tool.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to upload malware, abuse the API, bypass access controls, process files you are not allowed to handle, or interfere with the reliability of the site.

• Do not attempt to overload the service with automated traffic or repeated large uploads.
• Do not use the site to distribute spam, phishing material, malware, or deceptive content.
• Do not try to extract other users' files, logs, or private information.
• Do not remove notices, misrepresent the site, or frame ads or content in a misleading way.
• Do not use the converter for unlawful activity or content you do not have a right to process.

Site content and guides

The guides and format notes on this site are provided for practical education. They explain common conversion behavior, cleanup steps, and limitations. They are not legal, financial, medical, or compliance advice. You should make decisions about sensitive documents with the help of qualified people inside your organization.

We try to keep the content accurate and useful, but conversion behavior can change as file formats, source documents, and the converter evolve. If you find an error, contact us with the page URL and the correction.

Advertising and sponsored content

The site may display advertising. Ads should be visually distinguishable from editorial content and tool controls. Do not interact with advertising to influence site revenue, ask others to do so, or use automated behavior to affect ad impressions or clicks.

Advertising does not change the converter's file-handling rules. If a third-party ad or external link takes you away from Markdown For All, that destination is controlled by the third party and may have its own terms and privacy policy.

Availability

The service may change, limit, or stop features as needed for maintenance, reliability, security, or product quality. We do not promise exact results for every file type or document layout.

The site may reject unsupported file types, files above the size limit, requests that appear abusive, or files that cannot be parsed safely. We may update supported formats, conversion behavior, limits, and page content without advance notice.

No professional advice

Markdown For All is a utility for converting file structure into Markdown. It does not verify the accuracy, legality, completeness, or suitability of source files or converted output. Do not rely on converted output for legal, financial, medical, tax, security, or safety decisions without independent review.

Limitation of responsibility

Use the service at your own risk. To the extent allowed by law, Markdown For All is not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate conversion, missing content, broken formatting, service interruption, misuse of uploaded files, or decisions made from unreviewed Markdown output.
